Been in a car accident (MVA) recently? We are here to help you!

Kinesiologists play a crucial role in the recovery process after a motor vehicle accident by designing personalized exercise programs that target specific injuries. Specializing in human movement, they assess the extent of physical damage and focus on rebuilding muscle strength, improving flexibility, and restoring coordination. These tailored regimens not only expedite physical recovery but also prevent long-term complications.

Kinesiologists excel in pain management, incorporating exercises that alleviate discomfort and gradually reduce pain levels. Their collaborative approach involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive rehabilitation strategy.

Education is integral to their methodology, empowering individuals with knowledge about proper body mechanics, regular exercise, and self-care techniques. This not only enhances the effectiveness of rehabilitation but also instills a proactive approach to long-term wellness.

All we need is your claim number and if your MVA happened before or after May 1st, 2021.

My passion for movement and training started as a young girl. I participated in ballet, lyrical, and jazz then transitioned to kickboxing. I kick-boxed for 8 years and achieved my low-black belt. Kickboxing was incredible and it served as my sanctuary for a while but eventually, it also became my pitfall. I suffered three concussions, a shoulder injury, a fractured ankle, along with knee and hip problems, which are still a problem for me today . I knew I wanted to pursue movement as a career because I am fascinated by how the body works so I wanted to be more knowledgeable and apply what I’ve learned in order to help myself with my own injuries. Moreover I want to be able to help people come back from injuries while also preventing them in the long-term.

I completed my degree at the University of Saskatchewan, then moved back home to North Vancouver where I now work with clients of all ages and abilities. Coming from a Kinesiology background, I am now able to train myself in a way that is optimal to me and my history. I’ve helped many clients who suffer from a variety of chronic and/or acute injuries. Whether it is low back pain, knee or hip pain, shoulder impingement, concussions, you name it!

Whatever your goal is, I am here to help you move and feel better, while also bulletproofing your body!

In my spare time, I LOVE to read a variety of books (but I love Stephen King), ski in the winter, go hiking in the summer, and spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy hot yoga and pairing that with my training regimen in the gym! I believe in balance, which means I do my best to fuel my body with whole foods, fruits, vegetables, good carbohydrates, with lots of protein! My guilty pleasure meal is pizza and ice cream!
